JULY EDITOR’S LETTER: CONSERVATION AND CAMBODIA

I’d like to begin this month by saying thank you. As many of you know Danni and I have been caught up in a whirlwind of finishing university, travelling and in growing jiminy this past few months. We have been really fortunate to have so many diverse brands from all corners of the globe reach out and join our expanding digital family, and to have been welcomed with open arms into people’s lives, abroad and at home. We now have a brand new media kit which you can view here if you’d like to work with us, and we are both extremely grateful to you all for your support, which without we wouldn’t have been able to continue bringing you exciting content from around the world and launch this next phase of jiminy. So thank you!

This July we have a great variety of designers joining us. From accessories brand KK Labs who contribute to protecting endangered species from their studio in London to Italian jewellery designer Giada Giachino, who is reviving traditional craftsmanship techniques to raise awareness about marine conservation. We are also very excited to feature guest blogs from Daisy from What Daisy Did, Sophie Benson and Elizabeth Buckingham. They will be making sure we have all the essentials for the festival season, keeping our underwear in tip top shape, and giving handy tips for first time travel.

Cambodia is our featured country for our travel stories this month, and we will be introducing you to some very special NGO’s that are making a positive change for many lives that have been affected by corruption and poverty. We are pleased to welcome fashion brand Remake, who will take us on a journey inside the fashion factories of Cambodia, and show how small actions can truly make a difference to the livelihoods of women at the beginning of the supply chain.

As always, let us know what you think of these new brands and articles, and share the love over on Twitter and Instagram.

Enjoy the sunshine!
